Reach the desk
One inbox for every question.
YardPermit has a single contact address. Corrections, source updates, privacy requests and questions about the site all reach the same inbox, which DueRiva, the site’s maker, reads.
The address starts with privacy@ because it began as the privacy contact. It now handles all mail to the site.
Corrections
If a page misstates a rule, a formula or a source, send the page address, the sentence in question and, where you have one, the official source that shows the current rule. A confirmed correction updates the page, its source record and its review date together, as the editorial policy describes, and is logged on the changes page.
Building departments and code officials
If you work for a jurisdiction that a page describes, a link to the current official handout, bulletin or code section is the most useful thing you can send. YardPermit only makes a local statement against an official source with a visible checked date, so an updated source is what lets a page change.
Privacy requests
Questions about what the site stores, or requests about your own data, go to the same address. The privacy notice explains what is collected today and what is not.
What we cannot answer
We cannot tell you whether your project needs a permit, approve a plan or price the work on your lot. Those answers belong to your building department, your HOA and licensed professionals who can see the site. The permit checker and Project Brief are built to help you ask them precise questions.
